Welcome to Production Engine EVO
We are creating the "proof of product" engine. This is the final step to prove we can provide all needed data for licensing, expect production and most of all SUCCESS.
Watch as we assemble one of the
Production Prototype "Training Engines.... >>
With this MASS PRODUCIBLE ENGINE will be able to train manufacturers to make
engines, get Production started and OEM's using them. ALL OVER THE WORLD.
We will show you the evolution from our process
"discovery" and test engines which have evolved into this
"Training" engine, a sample of the mass producible engine.
This "TRAINING" engine is what
we call a "LITE" twin. It is limited to 150 HP loads
because we use a smaller shaft commercial "Bottom End"
than the 300+ HP engines would have.
===============================================
Here is a sequence showing the assembly of the first "PROOF"
machining of the NEW MODERN "production" class TRAINING ENGINE.
This assembly is to verify that all the NC machining is correct
and that the full set can be run as programmed. WE ARE ABOUT THERE..
There are also a couple pictures of the NEW Version 6 ECS (Engine Control System). The new system is now interconnected via Ribbon Cable and "Locking" safety sockets to clean up the production look and provide a easier assembly while providing a more secure, safer, fitting between modules. All Signals, Inter processor Communications via the CAN bus, etc. are carried by these cables. This dramatically reduces the Line noise and enhances reliability.
Because this is a "fitting" assembly you will note we have not prelubed the Con Rod or wrist pin bearings nor did we put on the Single piston Nylon seal ring. We also are not "sealing" the engine to make it gas tight.
You will see the unique way the case and cylinder carriers go together to make the seal "air tight. There is also a pair of O rings one inside one out to enhance that seal. same is true for the head as it also has an O ring seal. It should be apparant how the engine is "sealed" to allow it to run in a "helium", not Oxygen, environment which negates the effect or corrosive on lubricants as well.
You can see just how "simple" the engine is to fit together and how
the 5 moving parts that make up this, Piston, Connecting Rod and Crank, fit and how maximized the
engine could be for both size and power. If less than 250 HP was wanted the Bottom end could be.
even lighter and such.
ENJOY a LOOK AT THE REAL FUTURE....
===========================================================================
As a example of our Advanced Mechanical Engineering
for this new engine here is the process. First, it is designed, using 3D,
graphics and checked for mechanical operation, below left. here you see a
illustrated version, for use in our training manuals and a exploded parts version
for use in our maintenance manuals, as it shows every part and location. and finally
the real coil and the "LITE" bottom end (Crankshaft). Yes Sir, that is a HD Sportster
90 lower end, crank and Con Rods, modified for our use by a great motorcycle shop
in Kansas. No sense in redesigning the wheel!!
Then it is 3D printed, creating a solid plastic set of
components that were fit together to check tolerances,l interlock and such, below Right.
Notice the premium design work here This design is self aligning, self sealing
and interlocks With just the 4 main Bolts, used to connect to the mounting plate.
My hat is off, and I am very proud, of our REALLY GREAT
Engineering team for this spectacular design. It is simple yet elegant and very easy
to make and maintain. Really top notch. It is also completely self locking, sealed
and easy to assemble. JUST A MARVEL!!
===============================================
Below, on the left, you can see the
3D Drawings and NOW the aluminum castings that make up
the block for the engine. Each Half of the Crankcase "Block" are identical.
Each Cylinder Carrier is identical. Thus, the manufacturing cost
is reduced and the total system is easier to build, test and seal.
Hats off to the guys for this simple yet elegant answer. Guess
we did not need those thousands of engineers after all. :0)
On the below right you get a glimpse of the
Individual parts that have been manufactured so far. These include the
new Stainless steel Cylinders, the Pistons, piston skirts, Head and Head retainer.
And even the great bottom ends made by the guys in Kansas.
ALL of these "Made in the USA"
so far.
===============================================
SO,.
This gives you an idea of how the engine is being built,
how it evolved and how the 3D Drawings,
and modern engineering, are used to make
OUR Discoveries a REALITY.
The full set of parts are all here, ready
to assemble and debug.
This page will continue to chronicle the parts,
then the assembly and debug of the engine to a fully
functional engine.
This is a NEW Engine, based on OUR MODERN ENGINEERING TECHNIQUES
PLUS what we have learned by testing the process USING
Data from what WE have designed and evolved from OUR test engines
and Engineering Expertise and Talent.
NO ONE CAN SAY WE STOLE ANYTHING,
as you can see for yourself.
We have NOT copied or stolen anything from any 30 year OLD
public domain Papp Engine. Nothing NEW there has been done in 30 years, anyway.
WE have the talent, AND understanding, to go our own way.
We felt that replicating a 30 year old design, that has never worked since 1983
for anyone, was a waste of time, given the modern engineering simulations and techniques.
These same modern techniques actually show the inefficiencies of this Antique.
Thus, from our first test engine, that proved 100 HP was the wrong design point
and broke, to the latest test engines, that provided the data and efficiency we use now,
it has been modern techniques and proper engineering that has us now on the
leading edge of getting manufacturing started, production available and this
technology finally into use.
WE ARE THE EXPERTS!!!
Brought to you by the NEW Power PEOPLE............
In spite of those who have spent years, and are, opposing it.
REMEMBER, also, That no one, that is criticizing us and telling you anything
about these engines has had one running since 1983.
Don't be swayed by WANNABEES.
WE DON'T HIDE THINGS
-- BETTER TO BE OPEN..

Production Engine EVOLUTION Started HERE
The
evolution involved many test engines. Below
are two actual lab test engines.
From these we
generated the data, tested the new ideas that evolved to this production engine.

Here is our Gas and coil wind tester. We use, and have used, this
to verify and measure how much piston movement we get from various gas mixtures and
also Transition Chamber Coils using various voltage, current and wire turns to find
the most efficient system.
